The profile of the Law graduate is characterised by the acquisition, also through an adequate examination of the historical and comparative dimension, of the knowledge of method and cultural and scientific contents indispensable for a high-level legal education. He/She will be capable to develop professional skills in the national, as well as European and international field. Alongside the optional pathway partly in English called CIELIP (Comparative, International and European Law and Innovation Programme), the traditional pathway is divided into four further optional training pathways: Forensic lawyer, Corporate lawyer, Public organisations lawyer, Innovation and sustainability lawyer.
Within each of these optional pathways, students are offered the choice between related or supplementary examinations consistent with the chosen training profile, together with practical workshops, among which students can choose those functional to the achievement of the chosen profile, in order to accompany the acquisition of theoretical skills with the development of practical application skills. The choice to follow one of the proposed training paths will be documented in the Diploma supplement issued on completion of the final degree.
This course provides students with a solid foundation in legal disciplines while allowing them to specialize in one of four optional pathways: Forensic Law, Corporate Law, Public Administration Law, and Innovation and Sustainability Law. In addition, there is a pathway called CIELIP that focuses on Comparative, International and European Law and Innovation, which is partly taught in English.
The course aims to develop students' theoretical knowledge while also equipping them with practical skills to apply in legal professions through participation in theoretical-practical workshops. Students also have the opportunity to gain international experience through various exchange programs with partner universities and institutions.
The course also provides curricular traineeships to prepare graduates for employment, with agreements in place with judicial offices and other regional institutions.
Occupational outlets of the general profile of the law graduate: lawyers, notaries, magistrates, university lecturers and researchers in the field of legal sciences, legal advisors in companies and institutions, in public administration and in national and international humanitarian, cultural, political and trade union organisations.
