The degree course in Pedagogical Sciences aims at acquiring knowledge and skills in the pedagogical sciences and in those disciplines, such as psychology, philosophy and biology, which contribute to framing educational action in its complexity; mastery of educational research methodologies; knowledge and skills related to educational design and techniques for the evaluation of outcomes and social impact; ability to use tools and strategies for prevention, diagnosis and intervention.
The course is divided into two curricula: Pedagogy and Humanities and Educator of disability and marginality. The first focuses on the theoretical and critical study of pedagogy in terms of its application in the various training fields. The second is particularly concerned with contexts of disability and marginality.
-The direct relationship between students and teachers is encouraged. Each student is accompanied by a tutor teacher who accompanies them throughout their studies. A very high percentage of graduates (96%, data AlmaLaurea 2023) are satisfied with the relationship with teachers.
-Overall, more than 95% of graduates are satisfied with the course (AlmaLaurea data 2023).
-Almost 80% of students graduate on the course.
-Three years after the degree, over 90% of graduates report that they are working.
-The course regularly organizes training events and other initiatives to promote networking and collaboration with qualified institutions and bodies in the area, also in view of the development of internships.
The course prepares for the professional activities of: Pedagogue expert in the design of training and curriculum; Pedagogist of Disability and Marginality.
The graduate in Pedagogy and Human Sciences will be able to spend the skills acquired as: coordinator of educational services or professional teams; manager/leader of educational and training organizations; pedagogue in vocational studies; school pedagogue; Expert in educational and training research; consultant in NGO and non-profit training and comparison services.
The Educator of Disability and Marginality can work as: educator in reception centers, community rehabilitation, rehabilitation centers, social services and judicial, professional studies and in school; Head/manager of education and training organisations and services for the elderly; coordinator of educational services and professional teams; expert in educational and training research; consultant in training and comparison services of NGOs and non-profit organisations.
