The degree course in Management of Cultural Heritage trains graduates with the professional skills necessary to manage cultural heritage and institutions (museums, archives, archaeological parks and other cultural sites).
The course provides students with: a sound basic education and an adequate spectrum of knowledge regarding the fundamentals and methods of historiographical disciplines, the history of cultural institutions, the history and techniques for the knowledge, conservation and social and economic enhancement of cultural heritage in its various components (archaeological heritage; artistic heritage; books and archives; landscape and environment); adequate knowledge regarding legislation, administration and management of cultural heritage; ability to use the main IT and digital tools in the areas of expertise.
-The course combines humanities with economics and management to allow students to acquire knowledge and competencies that ensure easier access to cultural heritage administration
- It offers laboratories, conferences and seminars to encourage a direct comparison with the problems posed by the job market
-You will be able to obtain sufficient ECTS to participate in public calls for art historians in the central and peripheral offices of the MiC, the Regions, local authorities, and to participate in calls for teaching art history in schools
-The employment rate five years after graduation is 86.4% (Source: Almalaurea 2022)

The course prepares for the profession of (ISTAT codes) Historians, Art experts, Archivists, Librarians, Museum curators, Researchers and technicians graduated in the antiquity, philological-literary and historical-artistic sciences.
