The Bachelor of Arts (L-10) degree program trains graduates with a general background in literary, semiotic, linguistic, philological, archaeological, historical, artistic and ethnomusicological disciplines. To those who wish to acquire a solid basic preparation in the field of classical and modern languages and literatures, this course of study offers, among its different curricula, a classical track and a modern and contemporary track. Those who desire a historical education will find a specific curriculum. In this way, this degree program in Humanities provides the student community with a valuable common preparation, which is also sensitive to the ways of access to teaching, but which allows at the same time to devote specific attention either to Classical Literatures, or to Modern Literatures, or to History.

The main objective of the course is to achieve the ability to learn and apply knowledge with a professional approach to work; it trains the ability to collect and critically interpret data , organizing reflection on social, scientific or ethical issues related to them; it facilitates the achievement of adequate analytical competence of problems and solutions addressed to specialist and non-specialist interlocutors.

In the constantly and rapidly changing labor market, the degree program trains versatile figures with solid linguistic and cultural skills capable of participating in processes of artistic-cultural heritage enhancement and dissemination. The trained profiles, therefore, will be able to offer their skills at national and international companies, multimedia content creation and distribution companies, as well as social media management agencies and web design companies.

In addition, the Humanities course proposes to create virtuous intersections between the knowledge characteristic of the Western humanistic tradition, modern humanities and social sciences, and that knowledge with new technologies, through text processing techniques.
