The Bachelor of Arts (L-10) degree program trains graduates with a general background in literary, semiotic, linguistic, philological, archaeological, historical, artistic and ethnomusicological disciplines. To those who wish to acquire a solid basic preparation in the field of classical and modern languages and literatures, this course of study offers, among its different curricula, a classical track and a modern and contemporary track. Those who desire a historical education will find a specific curriculum. In this way, this degree program in Humanities provides the student community with a valuable common preparation, which is also sensitive to the ways of access to teaching, but which allows at the same time to devote specific attention either to Classical Literatures, or to Modern Literatures, or to History.
The main objective of the course is to achieve the ability to learn and apply knowledge with a professional approach to work; it trains the ability to collect and critically interpret data , organizing reflection on social, scientific or ethical issues related to them; it facilitates the achievement of adequate analytical competence of problems and solutions addressed to specialist and non-specialist interlocutors.
