The need to safeguard the health of the planet and combat climate change is causing rapid changes within the labour market, where there is a growing demand for professional figures that were completely unknown until a few years ago, the so-called ‘Green Jobs’. It is estimated that in the next five years, public administrations and companies will hire more than 2 million ‘green’ workers in Italy, equal to 63% of their requirements (in practice, two out of three workers). The course allows students to seize these opportunities and face the challenges of a rapidly changing labour market prepared, imparting a mix of traditional and innovative skills. In addition to the already numerous employment outlets typical of a three-year degree in Economics, our graduates will also have the opportunity to access new professional profiles, in the private and public sectors, linked to the field of sustainability and the so-called Green Jobs
