How to book an exam

1) The notice board platform only serves to display the available exams (with start and end dates, i.e. opening and closing of the booking list) and not for booking;

2) the student must always fill in the career plan, in his or her reserved area, every academic year and once it has been filled in, saved and confirmed, he or she can book directly from the career plan by clicking on the booklet that appears next to the subject (on the days when the list is open). The student can always recompile the career plan, within the academic year (if, for example, he or she changes his or her mind about the exam to be taken among those chosen from his or her paper pds). The career plan essentially serves to book, easily and without errors, the examinations of one's cds and for this reason it must always be filled in and can be recompiled whenever one wishes. It is irrelevant whether exams remain in it that will not be taken. The important thing is that the student, at the end of his or her career, has taken all the examinations required by the pds of his or her year of enrolment.

Please note, in this regard, that the online booklet with the examinations taken, which must correspond to those required by the pds of the year of enrolment, is the authentic record for graduation purposes. It is irrelevant whether examinations that you no longer take remain in the online booklet. You can also book exams via the exam booking section, also in your reserved area. You click on the schedule of examinations, enter the exact wording of the examination you wish to take (we recommend that you copy-paste the wording from the examination notice board to ensure that the system finds it) and search. You click on the lens of the cds offering the subject and then on the booklet to book. If the system says that the booking has not been made because the teaching questionnaire has not been filled in, you first fill in the questionnaire by clicking on ‘click here’.

To reserve for partial examinations (e.g. A mediation) you must go through the partial examinations section and follow the same procedure as for the examinations booking section, clicking on plan dates etc. (see procedure above);

3) An out-of-course student cannot recompile his or her career plan and if he or she wants to take an exam not entered there, he or she must follow the procedure which involves going through the exam booking section, again in the reserved area. Click on Appelli da piano and enter the exact name of the exam you want to take (we recommend copy-pasting the wording from the exam board to be sure the system finds it) and search. You click on the lens of the cds offering the subject and then on the booklet to book. If the system says that the booking has not been made because the teaching questionnaire has not been filled in, you first fill in the questionnaire by clicking on ‘click here’. In order to book partial examinations (e.g. A mediation) you must go through the partial examinations section and follow the same procedure as in the examinations booking section, by clicking on plan dates etc. (see procedure above);

4) In the booking exams or partial exams section, a list appears that includes all the subjects with bookable appointments that, either by compiling the career plan, or through a previous booking made by the student, have been entered in the online booklet (another section from which one can book, by clicking on the booklet next to the subject). If you do not find the subject you wish to reserve in the list, simply follow the procedure described above, clicking on plan appointments, etc. (see procedure points 2 and 3 above);

5) if you encounter problems, send an e-mail to NOME.COGNOME@unimc.it, attaching the error screen that the system sends back at the time of the reservation failure, so that we can understand the nature of the problem, whether IT (to be reported to the IT technicians), educational, etc.
