Internship

The curricular internship is a mandatory activity required by the LLB Programme; the students are allowed to carry out the internship already from the second year on. As a rule, any public or private employer, be it Italian or foreign, is entitled to offer an internship to students, provided that the activity is relevant to the academic objectives of the IECoLS Programme: both the academic tutor and the host company shall assess and approve the educational project. The internship may start only after signing the agreement between the University and the employer.

The UniMC Stage Office provides a list of organizations and companies affiliated with the University: https://www.unimc.it/it/didattica/stage-e-inserimento-lavorativo/stage-curriculari/enti-aziende/elenco-enti-aziende-convenzionati. The students are encouraged to contact directly the organisation they are interested in.

The duration of the internship is 150 hours, corresponding to 6 ECTS (1 ECTS per 25 hours of internship). Should the internship last less than the established amount of time, no ECTS credits will be awarded. Each intern is assigned two tutors. The first is designated by the host institution/company and is the point of reference for the student on the workplace. The second is designated by the LLB Programme and provides support for the educational component of the internship.
For the Bachelor's Degree Program IECoLS, the role of tutor is assigned to dott.ssa Cristina Grieco.
