The degree course in Language Mediation for International Business and Digital Media proposes the in-depth study of three foreign languages, European and non-European, or two foreign languages, European and non-European, and Italian Sign Language (LIS) as a third language, intended as tools for interlingual and intercultural communication.
Out of the eight languages proposed, namely English, Spanish, French, German, LIS, Chinese, Russian and Arabic, students must choose two main ones, with an equal teaching load (36 CFU for each), and a third one, with a reduced teaching load (18 CFU), from the following six: English, Spanish, French, German, Russian, LIS, with the possibility of increasing the number of CFU allocated to the chosen third language (except LIS).
Graduates will also be able to continue their studies in the two-year degree programme in Modern Languages for International Communication and Cooperation (Class LM-38).

In a constantly and rapidly changing labour market, the degree course trains versatile figures with high linguistic and cultural skills who are able to manage and coordinate promotion and marketing processes in an international context, as well as to initiate design activities for the enhancement and dissemination of artistic and cultural heritage. The trained profiles will therefore be able to offer their skills in national and international companies, international marketing and multimedia content creation and distribution companies, as well as in social media management agencies and web marketing companies.
The new mediation course also proposes to enhance knowledge of the legislative and economic aspects related to the new media, technologies and digital communication, aiming to train multifaceted professionals capable of operating nationally and internationally, as well as acting as support to managers and creators of multimedia contents in different contexts.
