Data Analysis for the Social Sciences is part of the Class of Bachelor's Degrees in Statistics (L-41) and aims to offer training characterized by a high degree of interdisciplinarity.

The goal is to train a cultural and professional figure with a broad background in the areas of data organization, management and analysis, the fundamentals of mathematics and computer science as well as methodological and applied statistics.

This course is also enriched with typical courses in the social sciences that look at the comparison with the humanities, so as to establish a connection with the social aspects of information, with the normative ones, with the problems posed by the new information and communication technologies and with those of application of data analysis also in the humanities.
