The bachelor's degree program in Philosophy is mainly aimed at the study of philosophy in its main disciplinary articulations (theoretical, moral, linguistic, epistemological) and the history of philosophy (ancient, medieval, modern and contemporary); psycho-pedagogical teachings complete the course.

The course is structured in educational pathways for a twofold objective: 1) to encourage the acquisition of basic knowledge and skills appropriate for access to different areas of the world of work, 2) to enable students to make the most of their inclinations and abilities, interests and talents. Within the proposed objectives, adequate space was, in any case, also given to the student's free choice: so that it is possible for each one to build basic paths for a complete but also characterized education.

Specifically: the more classical 'Philosophy', aimed at in-depth theoretical and historical study, is flanked by that 'Philosophy and Society', which integrates the study of philosophy, especially applied, with teachings in the socio-economic field. Both paths allow the maturation of analytical, synthesis, argumentation and communication skills through critical comparison with philosophical theories, the exercise of logic and scientific methodology.

The occupational outlets and professional activities envisaged by the degree course are in various sectors, such as traditional and multimedia publishing, with particular reference to the humanities; in public administration and in public and private entities; and in the knowledge and innovation enterprise.

The degree course, in collaboration with the University, organizes, in agreement with public and private entities, the most appropriate internships and apprenticeships to compete for the credits required for 'other educational activities'.

The Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy is also offered in a mode that provides access to a special online platform that allows the use of additional materials and teaching support.
