The Master's Degree Course in "Design, Management and Conservation of Native and Digitised Digital Archives (LM-5)" offers an innovative educational programme that integrates humanities, law and technology. Designed to respond to the challenges of digital transition, the course prepares professionals to manage the entire life cycle of a document, from its creation to long-term conservation. The curriculum combines traditional archival disciplines with advanced skills in IT law, artificial intelligence applied to archives and data security. Thanks to a practical approach, supported by specific laboratories and compulsory internships, graduates acquire the skills necessary to operate successfully in public administrations and private companies.
The course is delivered in a blended format, with a proportion of online learning activities (up to two-thirds), ideal for balancing study and work, while maintaining practical and laboratory activities in person.
The curriculum combines archival skills (M-STO/08) with legal disciplines (GDPR, technology law) and IT (artificial intelligence, information security), creating a highly sought-after hybrid professional profile.
There are practical workshops on digitisation, document management and post-production, as well as a compulsory 200-hour (8 CFU) internship for direct contact with the world of work.
The course prepares students for the following professional roles:
Document management manager
Preservation manager
