The Master's degree course in International Relations, degree code LM-52 offers different learning pathways. The course seeks to develop the skills required by international relation specialists capable of high quality performance in fostering internationalizing processes in both private and state sectors, as well as in governmental and non-governmental international relations organizations operating in an international setting.

Competences: Graduate in the Master's degree course in International Relations shall demonstrate a thorough advanced multidisciplinary preparation that always includes specialist skills in politics, history and languages as essential tools to understand complex international relations dynamics. - work in advising, planning, designing and managing international cooperation projects, as well as in high responsibility positions within national and supranational, governmental and non-governmental organizations operating in the field of cooperation;

- pursue a career as senior policy-maker within administration, law and government agencies in the public sector at national and international level;

- be employed in senior positions and contribute to the performance of operators representing regional or national interests to international, governmental and non-governmental organizations, European institutions, public relations offices of the civil service at national and regional level. Specialists in International Economic Relations (IER)

Specialists in International Economic Relations (IER): The International Economic Relations (IER) curriculum provides a focus on international economic and commercial relations as well as foreign markets. A comprehensive understanding of the English language contextualized within the disciplinary areas of the course LM-52 is a crucial requirement. The program is held entirely in English but it mandates also proficiency in two other foreign languages recognized for their widespread use in international economic and commercial relations. This curriculum offers a comprehensive understanding of economic, management, and commercial knowledge, complemented by two exams concerning the institutions and policies of the European internal market. The curriculum imparts a range of skills and competencies, including the ability to assist national and international institutions in the promotion of company internationalization, the capacity to develop European projects that facilitate business innovation and internationalization, and the ability to evaluate and analyze economic reports from both public and private organizations. In addition, the program punt an emphasis on the management of international economic relations on behalf of national and international institutions, with a focus on gaining an in-depth understanding of the topics being negotiated and the foreign language in use. The program also cultivates the skills necessary to conduct independent international market analyses, create business and marketing plans, analyze the strategy of multinational companies, research and evaluate foreign customers and suppliers, make trade agreements, and work effectively in an international team setting using digital platforms. Students in this curriculum develop skills necessary for presenting public research, findings in clear and concise reports, articles, and books. This curriculum ensures that the student gains a comprehensive understanding of the requirements of a professional specialist in international economic relations.

Specialists in politics and international economic relations (IPER): International Politics and Economic Relations (IPER) is the most multidisciplinary of the three curricula offered. Students will gain knowledge in economic, political, sociological, historical and linguistic areas, necessary to interpret the complexity of dynamics of international systems. It is characterized by a balance between the different areas, and with particular reference to that between the legal and economic areas, thus allowing the development of specific skills in the context of the governance of institutions or trade and international relations. This makes graduates particularly flexible and suitable for carrying out multidisciplinary planning and implementation tasks international bodies. Graduates will master two foreign languages, an essential requirement for all working contexts for which the degree course prepares.

Specialists in International Politics (IP): The International Politics (IP) curriculum is the most suitable choice for anyone aspiring to become a specialist in Political Science for International Relations. To excel in this field, one must possess advanced knowledge of English language contextualized to the disciplinary areas of the LM-52. Moreover, proficiency in two other foreign languages is mandatory. This curriculum offers legal, political, historical-philosophical and sociological knowledge, with a little emphasis also on the economics area. The specialist must possess a set of mandatory skills and competencies, such as the ability to analyze, evaluate, and draft reports of national and international institutions referring to the disciplinary areas indicated above, and the ability to take care of international relations on behalf of national and international institutions, with mastery of both the topics being negotiated and the foreign language used. Additionally, they must be able to conduct international research activities independently on the topics covered by the international reports. The graduates should have the ability to present the results of their research in public and write reports, articles, and books presenting the results with precision and accuracy.
